Betül Taygar Selected Represent Turkey IIHF Development Camp In Finland:

ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB forward Betül Taygar  was selected  to represent Turkey Woman in the IIHF Development  Camp in Finland next month.  In fact, this season she made an impression on representatives from the TBHF in the National U16 boys camp. Betül  was one of four girls selected for the 2011-12 TBHF Development Camp.  "I am very happy to represent my country in Finland,'' said Betül Taygar 16, of Erzurum Turkey, who will spend this season playing for NARMAN SPOR BUZ HOKEY BAYAN TAKIMI in Super League.

While playing for ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB Betül Taygar lead the club to two Regional Championships.  "She a very hard worker and has a lot of potential to be impact player in Woman's Hockey in Turkey," Said Keith McAdams, her former coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB.  "This year the club will move to Narman",   Said Keith McAdams, "The move will provide the club with more resources."  The new club will be coached by former National League Captian Yeliz Yüksel.
