GENÇLİK SPOR U14 CLINCH SPOT IN SEMI FINALS AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT:

National Championship Awards Ceremony 2010-11  




 GENÇLİK SPOR U14 clinched a spot in the semi finals of the National Championship in Ankara Turkey.  GENÇLİK SPOR U14  beat Ankara University 12-1 yesterday and beat Istanbul today 15-3. 

"So far we have played great," Said Keith McAdams Head Coach. "We have dominated both on offense and defense. Tomorrow we play KOCAELİ, We need to be able to play with the same intensity tomorrow. There is a good chance we will play KOCAELİ in the finals."


Today the Fellowship for Christian Athletes and GENÇLİK SPOR will participate  in a hockey school in Erzuurm Turkey. The goal of the program is to develop hockey and friendships between Muslims and Christians Athletes. The camp will take place over the next four days.  


"This is a great opportunity for the city of Erzurum," Said Keith McAdams Head Coach . "The coaches & players of Erzurum have opportunity to learn from some great coaches, share culture, hockey coaching techniques and develop friendships." 


Rick Randazzo is National Director, Ice Hockey Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Rick will bring with him to Erzurum a complete hockey school staff.  Yeliz Yuksel who is  Head Coach of NARMAN SPOR BAYAN is Program Director of Camp.


 Hockey Career • Rick grew up skating on frozen ponds in Buffalo, NY
• High School: St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute
Two-time All Catholic selection
• College: United States Military Academy, 1989-1993
4-years NCAA Division 1, on West Point’s all-time top scoring list
Rick served 6 years on active duty as a US Army Calvary officer and Airborne Ranger
• Head Coach, United States Naval Academy, 1999-2007
120 wins in 8 years makes Rick the “winningest” coach in Annapolis history
• National Director, FCA Hockey, 2008→
